Hello Parents,

I wanted to reach out to you to remind you that your teens will be tested on their prayers. I wanted to make sure that you are aware of the prayers they may be tested on. Please make sure to go over this list with your teens.

The priest may want the basic prayers, Our Father, Hail Mary, and of course, the Ten Commandments. We have reviewed them but a refresher would be helpful. The prayers are also found in the back of their Bible.

Me gustaría recordarles que sus hijos adolescentes serán evaluados en sus oraciones. Quisiera asegurarme de que estén al tanto de las oraciones que pueden ser evaluadas. Por favor, revisen esta lista con sus hijos.

Following you will find some resources that can help your teen with the Sacrament of Reconciliation. You will find an Examination of Conscience geared specifically toward teens.

You will also find a copy of Seven Steps to make a good confession. You must remind your teen of step number 4, the highlighted one. Father is very particular about the kids saying what is in quotations. This is what my First Communion Class is working on, and that step is one that is important for Father to hear. 

A continuación encontrará algunos recursos que pueden ayudar a su hijo adolescente con el sacramento de la reconciliación. Encontrará un examen de conciencia dirigido específicamente a los adolescentes.
